We spent our last evening getting LOST. From Beth we learned that the 15th century Italians like torturing and burning things. Chris advised us to “eat our damn vegetables” to stave off scurvy, Amy showed us what a badass Amelia Earhart was and that open marriages aren’t some San Francisco thought up in the 1990s. Barry, our benevolent host at DNA, reminded us that the only constant in San Francisco is change and loss. Michael made sure we’ll never piss off 16th century Spaniards because they might not only rip you limb-from-limb but also your utterly destroy your city. And Tre urged us to take back the art of getting lost and leave our cell phones at home from time to time.
Important scurvy fighting cocktail.
New fellows of Odd Salon, getting their official lapel pins.
Thank you to our evening’s speakers Beth Abdallah, Chris Carrico, Barry Synoground, Amy Widdowson, and Michael Sollazzo, to Tim Guandalini for raising the bar with his tattoo, and to our extra helping hands Kim Huntimer, Danielle Vincent, and the fabulous staff at DNA Lounge.
