Odd-chitecture Tour of Downtown San Francisco

We’re going to start the tour in the exact spot where SF started, and we’ll travel through time and space to end at the crowning glory of the post 1906 building boom. Along the way we’ll learn about some of the most architecturally interesting buildings that were built in that time between the 1906 earthquake / fire and the Great Depression.

This members/fellows event is unique in that it’s a one-off: our guide, Carla Lazzarini, has created this tour especially for us. Carla is a 5th generation San Franciscan (on both sides of her family), a genealogy junkie, a history hugger, a preservation pragmatist, and a historical architecture advocate who surprisingly doesn’t hate the Salesforce Tower. At the end of the tour we’ll all grab a drink at the Pied Piper Bar. Come geek out on buildings and San Francisco’s past with us!
