Urban Foraging: The Delicious & the Nefarious Trees of Golden Gate Park

April 1 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

$40 – $50

Join us for a walking tour and wild edible tasting experience in Golden Gate Park hosted by author and wild food expert, Maria Finn.

Maria Finn and her truffle dog, Flora Jane, will take us on an exploration of Golden Gate Park focused on its trees: the delicious, the beautiful, and the nefarious. Learn about their biology, ecology, and their stories.

Maria Finn is an author, a chef, and a wild food expert. She runs Flora and Fungi Adventures leading small group, hands-on foraging, fishing, and cooking excursions crafted to deepen our relationships with the natural world.

We will gather in Golden Gate Park. Maria will lead us on an hour and a half exploration (~2 miles) culminating in a 30min tasting and demo.

Wear warm layers and shoes for walking over uneven terrain.
